This Border Leicester Wool was spun at Three Points Fiber Mill with only Crown Hill Farm’s fibers from our mindfully-raised sheep, Lily.
I've dyed these skeins with colors from my natural dye gardens and foraged on Crown Hill Farm property. “Warm Green” is made by over-dying my unique blend of marigolds and onion skins with a quick dip in an indigo.
In just the right light, the golden undertone shines through this lustrous yarn that otherwise shows a warm dark green color. It simply shimmers in the light. Due to the nature of natural dye, there may be slight variations in color within and between skeins.
Everything from Crown Hill Farm are Heirloom varieties and Heritage breeds, sustainably and mindfully grown with respect to land, plants, animals and soil.
