Late Summer Yarrow Border Leicester 3-ply Sock/Fingering Weight Yarn

$30.00
Sold Out

3-ply Sock Weight Yarn in 300 yard/103g skeins, Suggested Gauge: 8.5 stitches/inch on size US2 needles Care: Hand wash warm and lay flat to dry

This Border Leicester Wool is spun at Blue Mountain Farm & Fiber Mill with only Crown Hill Farm’s fibers from our mindfully-raised sheep — Sarah, Abraham, Lily, Ruth, & Isaac.

I've dyed these skeins with colors from our natural dye gardens and foraged on Crown Hill Farm property. Spring Yarrow is made from Yarrow flower tops which were harvested from our garden this spring and used fresh.

This beautify pale green color is refreshing like the greens of early spring. Due to the nature of natural dye, there may be slight variations in color throughout a skein.

Everything from Crown Hill Farm are Heirloom varieties and Heritage breeds, sustainably and mindfully grown with respect to land, plants, animals and soil.
