This Border Leicester Wool is spun at a regional Fiber Mill with only Crown Hill Farm’s fibers from our mindfully-raised sheep, Ruth & Isaac
I've dyed these skeins with an indigo vat— one of the few natural dyes I mindfully source until I grow enough to use from my own gardens. I’ve used a playful range of shibori resist techniques on these skeins to create the variations of white and blue in each skein.
Due to the nature of natural dye and this method of resist techniques, there are variations in color throughout a skein and pattern of white to blue from skein to skein. Photos show one skein re-wound and one not to demonstrate how it’ll knit up.
