I've dyed these skeins with colors from our natural dye gardens and foraged on Crown Hill Farm property. Hearthside is made from Sulphur Cosmos harvested throughout the summer and fall and used for dye.
This fiery color is just the warmth we need on cold northern winter days. Enjoy the range of hues shown in a gradient that comes from these flowers by adjusting the pH in the dye. The yellows, oranges and reds remind me of sitting by the fireplace all cozy and warm.
Due to the nature of natural dye, there may be slight variations in color throughout a skein.
