Milk & Tallow Farm-Made Soaps

$8.00

These cold-processed soaps are made the old fashioned way! I start with local suet (beef fat) which I render down to make a clean white oil. Then I combine this with fresh raw milk from a farm friend’s cow in addition to coconut oil, and high quality essential oils. After the saponification process, I come out with these creamy, sudsing soaps with a lovely light scent that do a wonderful job at keeping your hands soft and moisturized.

My soaps represent community and togetherness. I always make them with friends and whomever is gathered around the farm kitchen at the time as we talk, share and enjoy each other’s company. That joy goes into each and every bar of soap.

This year, I’ve made four different scents:

Frankincense and Clove: A warm and grounding blend of spicy clove and sacred frankincense, reminiscent of cozy evenings by the fire, spiced holiday beverages, and the sacred essence of seasonal celebrations.

Orange and Pine: A bright and refreshing fusion of citrusy orange and earthy pine, evoking memories of holiday stockings filled with mandarins with the pine scent of freshly cut winter greenery.

Lemongrass and Rosemary: A vibrant herbal medley of zesty lemongrass and soothing rosemary for an energizing cleanse evoking the renewal of the brighter, longer days to come.

Heliotrope: A soft, powdery floral scent with subtle vanilla undertones, Heliotrope is my signature scent and reminds me of fresh baby powder after a warming bath. It fills the quiet of Winter Solstice with a gentle sweetness that soothes the spirit.

Ingredients: local farm tallow, local farm raw cow’s milk, lye, coconut oil, essential oils as listed in the scent name.

All soaps are their natural color. No dyes or colorants are used.
