This pin-drafted roving comes from my Border Leicester Longwool flock. Their beautiful long locks are bright white with a hint of creaminess and a lovely natural luster.
Pin drafting creates a smooth, open preparation with the fibers well aligned, making this roving easy and enjoyable to draft and spin. Border Leicester wool produces a strong, lustrous yarn with beautiful drape and character.
The roving has been cleaned and is undyed and untreated. As with any minimally processed farm wool, you may find a few small bits of vegetable matter, but nothing major.
