Our Support of the Grow Hope Foundation

I choose to lead with Generosity whenever possible. One place that happens is in supporting an organization close to my heart: the Grow Hope Foundation, whose mission is deeply aligned with our own mission of empowered nourishment.

Grow Hope started with a vision of my dear friend Kim after seeing first hand the struggles in Uganda to maintain wellness. A year later, a piece of land amounting to 4+ acres was purchased in the center of the community she was working within. Plans for an educational compound were drawn up. The name Tusubira Village was decided upon, tusubira meaning “hope” in the local language.

The Grow Hope Foundation has grown significantly since they first launched. They offer programs teaching sanitation, hygiene, and nutrition, in addition to a growing number of other programs to empower the community. These include: teaching skills such as tailoring, business training, and hosting groups at Tusubira Village to teach farming and how to grow produce to feed their families in challenging environments with little water.

This is all so close to my heart… an organization that is growing food, businesses and community with a vision to create more empowered sovereignty for everyone.

Please consider supporting them yourself.
